WOW, what a unique and innovative foundation! At first glance, it looks like a paint tray with a roller on the side. How does it work?
I painted my entire house, so this clever contraption makes me wonder how it will look on the skin. The results should be flawless airbrushed looking skin. My only concern would be the small lines you may not see after rolling the foundation on, so in my professional opinion, I always suggest going over it again with a blending sponge or with a foundation brush.
What are the obvious benefits?
- You can get medium to full coverage makeup using just one product.
- Oil-free and has an SPF 25 for sun protection.
- The packaging is flat and lightweight, say goodbye to bulky bottles.
This product seems to be completely sold out on the web site too. You may have to pick it up at your local drugstore. (It sells for $14.99 at Walgreens.)
How to:
L’Oreal Paris suggests you roll the sponge applicator atleast up to five times to get a sufficient amount of foundation onto the applicator. Start from the center of the face and rolls the applicator outwards in a downward motion. For the nose hold the applicator vertically and roll. For eyes, hold and roll it horizontally.

not a good idea at all, sponges = bacteria over time, so bacteria builds on the sponge… then you roll the sponge all over the makeup and apply it to your face D:

I tried it out this weekend and yes it is just a little tricky. The results are great though, smooth and even, you can build the coverage you want by doing several passes. The nose area is most tricky. It was fun to try!

...does that work?
i feel like a regular sponge could work just as well.
a roller seems modern, sure, but more of a hassle cause the face isn’t exactly smooth
