Here is an easy tutorial on how to get rid of toenail cuticles. You can do this at home rather than going to a salon for a pedicure, which can run you between $25 - $40.
Step One: Soak your feet in warm water and Epsom Salt to soften, relax and detox your feet. You can also use a foot soak. Clean your feet after soaking for 15 mins. I like to use a foot brush.
Step Two: Dry your feet thoroughly or the cuticle remover product will not be as effective on wet feet.
Step Three: Apply a generous amount of cuticle remover product onto your fingertips, and then apply it to your toenail area. Massage and rub it into the cuticle area thoroughly.
Step Four: Using a cuticle pusher, push the cuticle back towards the nail bed. Be careful not to use too much force, but don’t be light handed either, this may take some effort.
Step Five: Now the cuticles should be soft enough to remove if they are loose around the nail. Using a cuticle trimmer, snip away the loosened cuticle around the toenail.
Step Six: Clean and rinse your feet making sure the entire product is off your feet. Dry your feet thoroughly again and follow up with a foot cream or nail polish.
