Icon Marilyn Monroe still has it in her to win against the modern stars of today as her competition. She recently took the number one spot on the “Greatest Blondes of All Time” poll.

She beat out other notable blondes such as Cameron Diaz (4th), Madonna (11th), and Paris Hilton (20th).

The poll was put on by Clairol Nice ‘n Easy, of whom a spokesperson had this to say about Monroe:

“Marilyn Monroe has always been known for her iconic blonde hair.

But it’s amazing to think that even now, almost half a century after her death, she has still beaten modern blondes to the top spot.

Her hair is synonymous with 1950s glamour but it has stood the test of time against hair styles and colours which have come and gone over the years.”

I would have to agree that it is so cool to see that her influence is still around after her lifetime. Her memory seems like it will be one of the ones to live on forever.
