I call this the power of makeup…literally. Makeup can enhance your beauty, no doubt. However, it can get to the point of looking like a DIFFERENT person. I happened to stumble upon someone’s picture on Facebook, and this girl showed how she changed herself using just makeup. The before and after pictures are pretty shocking because she has reached the point of almost getting a plastic surgery using just makeup.

From what I can tell, she put on a pair of circle lenses before she started applying makeup. Then, she applied eyelid tape and fake eyelashes to make her eyes dramatically bigger. On top of those, she also did a lot of contouring to accentuate some of her facial features.

Now this is what I call scary.

yup besides the makeup, its all about the angles. I too look like a completely different person if I wear that much makeup. I was actually working towards a tutorial like this but is having camera problems.


Wow, the difference is amazing! I think people should be comfortable with their real faces though.


LOL it’s not photoshopped at all guys… there were more pictures of her, but I didn’t upload them cause there were too many LOL the pictures showed step by step on how she did her look… but yeah very scary O___O it’s amazing to see how contouring made her nose look pointy and small… wow

even after I got my make up on, I look not drastically diff.


Make-up does WONDERS! Actually...I am not really surprise. I’ve been to Japan before...and met a lot of girls who look SUPER different when they use a sorts of cosmetic products!


Well, the photo makes it look so dramatic because in the first photo, she didn’t smile.

I can see she did lots of contouring!

O_O oh my goodness.. are you sure it’s not photoshopped at all!?


I don’t know. I don’t think it’s the same girl unless some photoshopping was involved. Her jaw and cheek lines look different in the “after” photo. There are areas that still look similar or the same, but I still think there was some photoshopping involved somewhere along the lines if it is the same person.


Make-up is definitely a powerful thing. I personally am not a fan of making over your features to the point of looking like someone else. It’s all about accentuating the features you are born with to bring out the best you, you can be.

Wow. I don’t recognize her at all ! Almost frightening how powerful makeup is!
