Cosmetic surgery is very expensive, but for some plastic surgery junkies out there, they are even willing to take the risk of getting it done in underground settings. However, this proved to be fatal for one such woman.

People hooked to cosmetic surgeries tend to risk the consequences of getting illegal surgeries in order to avoid high prices or long waits.

For possibly one of those reasons, 22 year old Mayra Lissette Contreras decided to get silicone ejections in her butt done by an underground cosmetic surgeon, and she ended up losing her life because she had breathing problems that resulted from the injections.

During normal surgeries, the silicone used is implanted in an enclosed capsule because silicone can have negative effects on the body. Underground surgeons, however, ignore this procedure and usually just inject it. Also, equipment used by these illegal surgeons are not likely to be sterilized because it would cost more money, which is all the more reason not to get surgery done by them.

The police are now in search of the two sister “surgeons” who operated on Contreras.
