Pop singer Lady Gaga recently sat down with Harper’s Bazaar and gave her frank candid thoughts on plastic surgery. She also talks about her body and her decision on how the world sees her.

The singer claims to have never had plastic surgery, while there are countless singers who have. She feels that getting plastic surgery is promoting insecurity and more harmful than body modification.

Gaga also talks about her sculpted cheekbones and how they have always been a part of her, not because she is “masochistic”. She says that she doesn’t encourage anyone to harm their body.

Say all you want about plastic surgery, Lady Gaga (after all, it is her opinion). I myself am not a fan of plastic surgery - after all, you’re born the way you are and I think natural beauty is better than fake beauty. But all in all, it’s your decision and your life. I feel that people are free to choose how they should live their lives. If plastic surgery is one way to live their lives, then so be it. While I do agree that plastic surgery is promoting insecurity, at the same time, it could instill confidence in the person. They may feel they are ugly before and after, they are beautiful and they can show their face to the world.

i dont really agree to plastic surgeries
very bad


i think it’s all depending on the person
to me...plastic surgery is in no way a BAD BAD TSK TSK TSK you-shouldnt-do-that kinda thing

It’s a personal choice although I do prefer going natural


I do prefer natural beauty...but I guess some people just want to change how they look like because they aren’t confident or think that they are pretty enough.  I don’t think Gaga needs any! Thank you so much for sharing

i dont think she should get plastic surgery tho. she’s beautiful enough already! plus the aftereffects can be really hazardous to her health! D: 


i don’t really care if someone gets plastic surgery or not.. i mean it’s their own money so they can do whatever they want with it.. but they needa be careful since it can be harmful too.


Wow I didn’t know she never had plastic surgery. I like her even more now. I totally don’t understand the use for plastic surgery for purposes beyond medical needs. I feel that people should be happy with how they look since what matters is in the inside. Thanks for sharing.


If people have the money for it, and they want to do plastic surgery, then I don’t really care because it’s none of my business. But I would never spend thousands of dollars to fix my face, which I don’t think is ridiculously ugly to the point where I actually need surgery. But then again, I might feel different if I was filthy rich and a couple of thousand dollars is spare change for me. 


well people can become more beautiful after plastic surgery but also they can be harmed bu plastic surgery so they need to think carefully about getting plastic surgery!

hmm, im not a fan of plastic surgery either, but i respect the opinion of those who decide to ^^ though i might not be completely satisfied with the way i look, i think positively smile thanks for sharing! nice to know what lady gaga thinks on this.


I’ve always thought she was beautiful naturally. I think that some plastic surgery can seriously harm people and there’s always a risk but for some people it really helps them be more confident and look better.
