Lipstick has always been, and will remain, one of the world’s most controversial, yet meaningful and iconic products. After all, women can’t live without lipstick for it just gives them that extra oompf! L’Oréal Paris recently launched their newest line (Infallible Rouge) and conducted an online poll that talks about the lipstick from the perspectives of both men and women.

  • You can reapply in public. - Who says women can’t reapply lipstick in public? After all, 75% of women don’t think it’s a breach of etiquette in doing so.
  • Switching colors isn’t related to men. - 90% of the women asked said they wear lipstick to feel more self-confident, not to entice men.
  • Embrace lipstick. - 30% would trade one of their daily habits or prized possessions to just carry lipstick with them all day long.
  • Red lipstick is loved by men. - Many men (70%) love that red shade and think that it’s not only sexy, but successful as well.
