It takes a lot of courage for a woman to get plastic surgery so that she may feel more confident about herself. And cosmetic surgeons are keeping in mind the recovery period it takes for women to recover from surgeries such as breast augmentation. The latest attempt is recovering from this in just 24 hours. Normally, it takes up to 10 days to recover.
Apparently, this new method will allow those to be able to raise their arms, dry their hair, take showers, and even go shopping! Well, according to Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, that is. He says the trick is to find a breast pocket for the implant that will cause very little trauma and bleeding, which leads way to less pain and faster recovery. And the process will only take 30 minutes, down from an average of one to two hours.
But a purported short surgery will raise a red flag because of the greater risks that are involved. The body needs to heal, have a proper recovery period without causing unnecessary health risks.
The two school of thoughts have been clashing, especially those who believe that a longer recovery time is necessary for surgery to your body and those who believe doing it correctly in a quicker time to lessen pain. And then there’s issue of showering, which could result in infection if water seeps into the incisions before they heal.

I think the patient should be the one who gets the final say. After all, it is that person’s health who’s at risk. What do you think?
