Want to learn how to do nail art? Well first, you’re going to need to get prepared for what you’ll need to complete beautiful creations on your nails. Presenting to you: nail art essentials.
1. Nail Polish or Acrylic Paint

First things first. You’re going to need nail polish in order to get art on your nails. Choose some of your favourite colours and use them!
2. Top Coat and Base Coat

Make sure you have a base coat to protect your natural nails (if you’re using them instead of fake ones) and a top coat to seal in your creation and give it some extra shine!
3. Dotting Tools

If you don’t want to go and purchase dotting tools, you can always use a bobby pin or toothpicks or thin-tipped brushes. You’ll need to use dotting tools for basically any nail art creation. You never know, simple dots can go a long way!
4. Nail Art Pens/Stripers

Nail Art Pens are easier to use than stripers but they basically perform the same use. If you want some pretty lines, use these and you’ll get your desired results, but be careful, you’ll have to put the right amount of pressure or else it might turn into something else!
5. Sparkles/Fimo Nail Supplies/Stickers/Jewels

If you want to turn your nail art into 3-D, then you’ll need to put to use some of these to give your nail that extra sparkle or dimension you desire.
6. Nail Polish Remover

Last but not least, you’re going to need nail polish remover to remove any mess-ups you’re going to make. Better be prepared than not!
