For those that want to get into pink lipstick without feeling too Barbie-esque can look to today’s Beauty Tip of the Day.

When choosing the right pink lipstick that won’t be too overwhelming, look for pinks with warm beige undertones, especially those that also have a semi-matte texture.

Though if you want to pick up that gorgeous bright pink shade because you might feel a bold later, try putting concealer or nude lipstick on your lips first, then apply the pink, which will help tone down the brightness. You could also take this tip for any other bright-colored lipstick as well.

I like the nude lipstick/concealer trick. Thank you smile I’ll try it before going to my friend’s house. When we’re shopping for makeup, she always goes for cute pinks and I go for corals. She’s ginger, I’m Asian, haha.
