I have insanely thin lashes and to make matters worse, they always point down and tend to lose their curl easily. They also tend to lose their curl if you apply too many layers of mascara on. Frustrating right? I’ve been on the lookout for a good mascara for some time and when I saw the Fusion Beauty Lash Fusion XL Micro-Technology Instant Lash Volumizer, I thought it’d be worth a try.

Fusion Beauty Lash Fusion XL™ Micro-Technology™ Instant Lash Volumizer mascara is a mascara that will bring your lashes to full attention and actually volumize them pretty well. The product is actually really large, larger than a lot of mascaras I have seen and has a pretty big wand for you to hold onto while applying your mascara to your lashes.

Here’s what they state about the mascara straight from the website:
What it is:
A creamy mascara that conditions and lengthens lashes for dramatic effects. What it is formulated to do:
Fusion Beauty LashFusion XL Micro-Technology™ Instant Lash Volumizer delivers bold, healthy, voluptuous lashes. This rich formula includes a naturally emollient resin to encourage curl, and comes with a large brush that makes an impact in just one coat. This innovative breakthrough borrows the latest technology from the haircare world to nourish, protect, and enhance your fringe. What else you need to know:
The Fusion Beauty patented capisphere delivery system provides a reparative complex of fatty acids, avocado oil, and wheat flower lipids that fortifies lashes—even after the mascara is removed.
Here is my eye, sans-makeup to show how thin my lashes really are:

Here is my eye, wearing the mascara to show you how much of a difference mascara really makes to the lashes:

As you can see, Fusion Beauty’s mascara actually lengthens and volumizes really well. It has a pretty black tint to make it appear that your lashes are actually longer than they are. It doesn’t clump from my experience of attempt to put on multiple layers and dries relatively fast. After it dries, surprisingly your lashes feel really soft-like they don’t really have mascara on them at all! Just as Fusion Beauty states, you really need only one coat to get the effect you want. Although I wouldn’t agree to the “dramatic effects” Fusion Beauty states will happen, I can say that you’re bound to love this mascara after you have it in your hands!
The price of this mascara hurts quite a bit as it is priced at $24, unlike your regular drugstore brands, but I can see how the price reflects the results. If you wish to purchase it, look for it in your local Sephora store, or click here.
