Today’s Daily Lip Gloss features the Lorac Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss! “An innovative, paraben-free lip gloss that contains holographic pigments for a multi-dimensional, high-lacquer shine and long-lasting color.” 3D, that sounds pretty cool in itself.
The description (though a bit long) provided on Sephora’s site really drew me in. “The Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss features a viscosity that visually retextures the lips, and smoothes away imperfections allowing color to appear more vivid and luminous. The unique formula is infused with antioxidants to help nourish and protect, while the creamy, moist texture helps lips look silky-smooth and ultra-glossy. It combines a liquid lipstick and lip lacquer for high-impact color and the 3-D Holographic effect will make your pout stand out!”
I just love how pouts are often emphasized for lip glosses. This one made me laugh: “The custom, pro brush is designed to hug the curves of your lips easily for a super sexy 3-D pout!” Totally sounds like a piece of clothing…for your lips, hehe. The colors are shiny, without these parabens: sulfates, synthetic fragrance, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan. There are six colors available, all pinkish or reddish shades. The container holds 0.17 oz of the gloss, and the applier tip looks interesting. Costs $22 each from Sephora. Looking at the picture of the gloss at the top, that one is called “Vivid.” Is the 3-D effect really as good as Lorac claims it to be?
