The Missha M Perfect BB Cream is a blemish balm that is somewhere in between a tinted moisturizer and a full coverage foundation with added benefits such as SPF 42 PA+++, anti-wrinkle, and whitening properties. After failing to find a good foundation match and being dissapointed in the coverage of tinted moisturizers I thought I’d give the Missha BB cream in #23 a try.

Swatches of my different face products.
Left: Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse in 060 Medium
Center: e.l.f. Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 in Nude
Right: Missha M Perfect BB Cream in #23

My arm is much tanner than my face, but the e.l.f. Tinted moisturizer is the perfect match for me. The revlon is a little bit too pink for be but its still workable. The Missha BB Cream startled me at first because it looked really gray in comparison to the other two, and was a shade lighter as well. Regardless, I applied it lightly on my face and waited for the BB cream to oxidize and change from giving me a ghostly gray cast to a more fitting shade and blemish coverage.

Left: bare skin Right: Missha M Perfect BB Cream + Too Faced Peach Leopard Brightening Powder

As you can see I am quite freckly and have a few hyperpigmentation scars and the BB cream did a good job in blending in the freckles for a more even overal skin tone. After the BB cream oxidized it was still a little bit too light for my face so I set it with the Too Faced Peach Leopard Brightening Powder and the color was perfect. After wearing it for the past week or so I felt that it held up quite well, even on the hotter days although I did have to blot my face after around 6 hours. It didn’t irritate my face at all.

Overall I thought It did a great job in covering up blemishes and evening out skintone. I’d have to use it for much longer to see if the product actually whitens my skin though. I’ll have to investigate and see how much of a difference in color the #31 is from this #23 and see if it would be a better match.

I think 23 suits you well, even prettier with the brightening powder over it—loving that glow!

This is currently my go-to BB Cream when I’m too lazy to put foundation on.

Why thank you miss Jinra ^_^ and yes I totally feel like J.Lo with the glow XD

Thanks for the review Anabel ^^ I have this, and I think it does an okay job.. nothing spectacular maybe cause it’s a bit darker for my skin?! I mix it with my Missha Vita Matte BB cream to lighten it up a bit haha;;; I should get #21 next time ><

ah yes, I’ll try mixing it to see if I can make the color match a bit better, thanks for the tip!

Wow, this seems like a pretty reliable item! :D
It covers really well!!~
Thanks for the review!!

Cool. It looks like it did a good job at covering. 6 hours is a pretty long time. I might try this someday. Thanks for the review.

Woah, there’s a #31 now? :o
Haha, when i first tried Missha last year, I was shocked by the gray. Only Voldemort can pull that off >.> But months later, my Missha turned slightly less gray. Maybe the bit at the bottom of the tube was too old or something, idk.
I still like BB cream because it’s light and the SPF. And it may have something to do with my acne? Haha.
How do you feel about the lasting power?

thanks for the review smile

Love the color! Thanks for sharing! :D
