The Sephora by OPI nail polish series offers up a wide collection of some pretty amazing colors. When I saw that “I’m Wired” being described as an “opaque electric coral red,” it sounded perfect for summer and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Color: “Electric coral” definitely describes it pretty well. From the bottle, it looks faintly more cream-like but when applied, it’s looks more brighter, which I like a lot better. Very pretty and very fitting to put you in a tropical mood.
Application: You definitely need at least two coats for it to look nice. The first coat is just a touch streaky, which might be attributed to the small brush partially but can be hidden easily with that second coat. Though if you’re painting with your left hand…a couple nails might need a third coat. But other than that, the formula is very easy to put on and the right amount of liquid-y.
Survival: With no top coat, I got to 1.5 days, right at the tips as always. But still pretty okay-looking.
Overall: Available as a full bottle ($9.50 for 0.5 oz)or included as a mini-size when you buy value sets like this Set For Summer or sometimes Sephora will also have mini polish collections too, which are great to try out colors without the full price. In the end, it’s not too bad, considering the color was super nice and gorgeous and it’s possible that the full size might provide a slightly bigger brush that won’t show a streak in the first two coats. Pleased and would consider trying out other colors.
Score: 5/5
