Fragrances are not a necessity in my life, but when a special event comes up, I gotta make myself presentable and smell nice! The Harajuku Lovers G eau de toilette vial by Gwen Stefani is one of the best fragrances I’ve tried. It is actually a sample of the actual Harajuku Lovers Fragrance G Eau de Toilette Spray, you know, with the plastic doll stuck on top of the whole thing?

I found the 0.33 oz product on amazon.com for $18.68, as compared to the list price of $30.00. The description reads: “Never one to get lost in the crowd, G leads her crew in a white, corseted top and a blue miniskirt รก la Alice in Wonderland. Quirky, unique, and undeniably cool, G is the leader of the pack. Her scent is an oriental, fruity, gourmand fragrance with notes of fresh coconut, jasmine, and cotton woods.” Wow, if I didn’t read this, I would have never known how to describe the scent from the vial! It smells really good, and that’s all I knew. I guess it smells somewhat oriental, with some fruity and flowery bits.

Opening my little (glass?) vial was easier than I thought it would be. There is a piece of yellow plastic that you could push upwards (acts like a cork?) and open it. I dabbed some of the slightly-yellow-tinted clear fragrance on my wrists. Smells wonderful, aah. Got some compliments later, such as “You smell good!” That’s great, considering I like the G so much myself. Maybe when I can rake up some spare cash in my wallet, I can buy a prettily packaged one and wear it every day! I suggest this scent for those who want to be noticed for smelling sweet yet not too strongly.
