With Hollywood going for Botox and other young, wrinkle-free products that leave them with no expression, it’s nice to know that three beautiful actresses by the names of Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz, and Emma Thompson have come together to create the Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League, which is dedicated to those who like to age naturally.
Here’s what they each had to say on why they formed such a league:
- Kate Winslet: It goes against my morals, the way that my parents brought me up and what I consider to be natural beauty. I will never give in. I am an actress, I don’t want to freeze the expression of my face.
- Emma Thompson: I’m not fiddling about with myself. We’re in this awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60.
- Rachel Weisz: People who look too perfect don’t look sexy or particularly beautiful.
Where’s the Fountain of Youth when you need it? I totally agree with them on this. Besides, you don’t want to look too young all the time, right? And when the rest of your body ages, your face is the only thing that doesn’t age and it’ll look all weird.
