After having tried my first bb cream, I was pretty content with it but I needed to find one with more coverage. I read somewhere that the formulation of the Missha Misa Cho Bo Yang BB Cream was slightly thicker So I thought I’d give it a try.

Missha’s US website says “Containing 3 kinds of precious ingredients such as Korean Wild Ginseng, Cordyceps Sinensis, Velvet and Pure Gold, it creates bright & radiant skin with oriental aesthetic formula.” It also claims to be a 3-in-1 product that whitens, has sun protection, and wrinkle care.

Right: Missha M Perfect BB Cream in #23

Above you can see that the colors are just about the same, but I find that Cho Bo Yang has a little bit more of a pink cast to it. Cho Bo Yang is also a thicker formula therefore giving better coverage. I really like the scent, It is a pleasant herbal scent but it doesn’t smell like those medicines or ointments. The finish on the skin is quite matte, yet has a very subtle sheen that gives your face a glow without looking oily or overdone. It’s a little bit light for my current NC37ish summer skin tone, but will be a perfect match come wintertime.

If you’re looking for a BB cream with heavier coverage or herbal ingredients, I’d recommend you to give this one a try.
