After seeing For Audrey by China Glaze for the very first time, and hearing all these good reviews from YouTube beauty gurus, I knew I had to get the bottle and try it out for myself. Unfortunately for me, it had been sold out at my local beauty supply store until I checked a couple of days ago and I immediately went and bought it. I guess good things do come to those who wait!

Colour: As part of their Something Blue Collection, For Audrey is a close Tiffany Blue and given the name of the polish, is dedicated to Audrey Hepburn who acted on Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I personally am in love with the colour and I think it would be suitably to basically any skin type and still look gorgeous. The colour of the nail polish when applied is quite true to the colour in the nail polish bottle, so I was definitely pleased at that.

Application: Application of the nail polish was fairly simple and easy. Although there was a small strand of hair sticking out of the brush, I easy took care of that by trimming it off. Due to the fact that the brush is a bit smaller than other nail polish brands, it took me about 3-4 strokes to cover the entire nail. The formula wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it took around two coats to cover up the nail completely. However, I like the fact that it’s quite hard to see streaks with this particular nail polish, even if you have an uneven hand.

Survival: The nail polish lasts quite a long time, it didn’t chip off with a base and top coat until a little more than week! Of course, it could be just me, since the same polish seems to last longer on me than my friends, but I’m definitely pleased at how long this lasts.

Overall: I am extremely happy about the way this turned out! (So happy that I even wore a ring that said love just to prove how much I am in love with it! Although the colour along with the ring reminds me of weddings…) Since I am quite smitten with the colour, how easy it is to apply the product and how long it actually lasts, it might as well be my favourite nail polish so far! It is definitely worth the price, since it costed me $6.50 for quite a good polish. The only thing I don’t like about it however, is this:

It’s the exact same colour as my crackle glaze in Crushed Candy! Of course, there is an easy way to tell apart the two nail polishes since I do still have that crackle sign wrapped around my nail polish bottle, but if I didn’t have it on, and it was at a quick glance, I guess I’d need to look at the bottoms of the nail polish bottles. I’d have to blame it on China Glaze for not making their crackle glaze bottles a lot more different than their regular polish bottles.

Score: 5/5

If you are interested in purchasing China Glaze Nail Lacquer in For Audrey, look in your local beauty supply stores or nail salons! They usually sell them for around $6.50.
