In an effort to take advantage of summer makeup hues, I’ve been on a search for the perfect peachy pink shade. I figured since I loved Missha’s M Luminous Color Lip Rouge in PK107, I decided to give another Missha lipstick line a go with the Signature Glam Art Rouge Lipstick in SCR302.

Here’s what the Signature Glam Art Rouge Lipstick in SCR302 looks like out of the tube:

The tube design is very luxe looking with its gold floral design. If no one told me that Missha was a low-priced cosmetics brand, I would’ve guessed that Missha was a brand I couldn’t afford just based on the packaging.

As you can see, the shape of the lipstick isn’t quite the standard stick with a slanted edge. Perhaps the shape of the lipstick tip was meant to be artsy with its random edges. Unfortunately, when you apply it, it kind of feels awkward in a way that you don’t feel like you’re getting all of the lipstick on your lips. You might feel yourself compelled to use it more often just to shape the lipstick tip back into a ‘normal’ state.

The website doesn’t show you an exact shade swatch of the lipstick but I feel like it’s pretty accurate. SCR302 is definitely a peachy pink with a hint of shine that’s suitable for those with warm skin with yellow/olive undertones. If you’re lighter complected, this may look like a bright peach on you.

As much as I love this shade, I’m slightly disappointed in the fact that it doesn’t stay on very long and it gets on everything. You’ll be reapplying it a lot. Warn your boyfriends that it’ll end up on his lips. While it doesn’t stay on too long, it does moisturize your lips — I never felt dry while I had this on.

Overall, I’m split on this lipstick. I really want to love it because it’s a beautiful shade and it’s very moisturizing, but it doesn’t last long and it gets on everything! As a result, it’s getting 3 out of 5 stars.

Score: 3/5
