Maybe it’s just my new-found obsession with attempting to get doll-like lashes without the need of false lashes. I’m very pleased to say that Lancome’s Hynose Drama mascara is quite a contender in that following category.
When I first saw the Hypnose Drama mascara, I thought it would be like my Lancome Definicils mascara-great in lengthning, really pitch black, but not so great in holding the curl. Looks like Lancome’s upgraded their game and came out with this! Yay! The wand is a bit different than some of the standard mascara wands, it has sort of a S shape to lift up your lashes.
Here’s what the product’s description page on Sephora has to say about the mascara:
Hypnôse Drama creates full body, high-volume lashes in a single stroke. The full contact brush, with its S-shaped curve, grasps and loads lashes for a fanned out, eye-popping, full body fringe. It works magic on tiny lashes. Even dramatizes corner lashes other brushes miss—or worse, mess. Lancôme’s luxurious new texturizing complex features highly saturated waxes and intense black pigments for maximum lash volume. The triple coating system with caring Pro-Vitamin B5 delivers a fluid and creamy application to quickly and easily build big, battable lashes. Won’t flake or clump. Fragrance free. Ophthalmologist and allergy tested. Safe for contact lens wearers.
Here’s what it looks on me, believe me, it looks a LOT better in person:

Overall, I am highly delighted at the results this mascara has given me that this is my number 1 mascara so far! It does all it says and isn’t too heavy to droop my curled lashes down. Plus, it doesn’t smudge at all throughout the day unlike some of my other mascaras. It makes your lashes look still quite natural as I managed to trick some of my friends (they thought I wasn’t wearing any make up at all.)
Score: 5/5
