Nina Dobrev is famous for 2 things, First is her acting on Vampire Diaries, and second - her hair! Nina’s hair is a vital part of her looks, and she even states herself, “I’m very anal about my hair. When I first got my job on the show, my mom told me, ‘We know they need your hair for today, you need it for life. You can’t let them sizzle it off.’”

This is one of the reasons why the 22-year-old actress takes special precautions in the treatment of her hair - concerning blow drying, straightening, and curling that happens on the set. She revealed that the trick her hairstylist, Riawna Capri uses for the star, is to wash her locks only three times a week; rotating in one of the three mask treatments every third wash.

“Sometimes I put the hair mask on and a shower cap on top and drive like that to work,” Nina proceeded to explain. “I look like an old lady! But it’s worth it. It’s been a dream of mine to be a L’Oreal or Pantene girl. That’s why I’m keeping it healthy—and long—until they ask me. That’s my incentive.”
