When I hear the name Calvin Klein, I usually think of something very classically stylish, with more of an emphasis on doing what works very well. Though that doesn’t mean that it’s boring, since they’ve also been able to show that they can make that effortlessly chic look appeal to a variety of ages. Because of this, I was intrigued to see if their fragrances lived up to the same type of impression. The gorgeous plum-wine color of Euphoria by Calvin Klein reeled me in from its looks, so I figured it would be a good choice to try.

Scent: From its description, Euphoria is described from the get-go as “mysterious. provocative. exciting.” - definitely heightening my hopes for that first whiff.

Hinted from the bottle color, the black orchid is one of the dominant scents in this, bringing in some oriental charms that mixes very well with the other fruity (pomegranate, persimmon) and floral (lotus blossom, black violet, liquid amber) scents.

It definitely is one seductive scent, but I have to say that the scent is one that makes its presence known, sort of one of those fragrances that I can see being used as someone’s signature smell. It’s not overpowering to get a headache from, but rather it gets a bit deeper the longer it sits on your skin.

Overall: Priced in a variety of sizes that are prices between $45 - $87, there’s some reasonable size choices depending on how much you want to spend. For myself, I definitely enjoy this scent since it is slightly more refined and good for those looking for something that would work in all occasions. Instead of having the expected girly floral scent, the deeper aromas that make up Euphoria will allow you to give off a more chic image, er… smell, and be one that will stand the times so that you can go back to it again and again.
