Reality always likes to come to us in huge doses, and this time it’s come to us in the form of Audrey Hepburn. Even a beauty like Holly Golightly wasn’t “Grecian” enough to escape the airbrush magic.
The NY Post found an unretouched photo of Audrey Hepburn, which was used to promote Breakfast at Tiffany’s. However, the photo had marks made with grease pencil to “correct” Audrey’s pores, lines, and shadows. Compare the two photos below:

Although this makes most of us feel better about using Photoshop to lighten our teeth or hide a zit, it also enrages me that someone as naturally beautiful as Audrey Hepburn “needs” to be airbrushed. She’s incredible the way she is!
