I am not really quite that much of a fan of always using my fingers to put on makeup, so this is where brushes come into place. Clean fingers, and possibly less time taken due to a more even application. This is also where the Clinique x Milly Brush Set, which includes a Foundation Brush, Eyebrow and Eyeshadow Brush comes into place.

Featuring crystal clear see through handles and shiny metallic rims, these brushes sure look pretty! The hairs of the brushes are also really soft. Here’s what is included in this brush set:

Foundation Brush

I find this brush a perfect powdered foundation brush as it picks up powdered products very nicely. It also dusts on powdered foundation or pressed powder really evenly and I don’t really see any flaws with it. I wouldn’t really recommend this for liquid foundation as it wouldn’t really work well with this style of a brush. Look here instead if you want one for that.

Eyebrow Brush

The bristles of this eyebrows brush are naturally harder than your normal face powder brush due to the fact that it has to comb all of your eyebrow hairs into the place. Nonetheless, I didn’t find it too bad to use and it did spread out the coloring quite nicely on my eyebrow hairs.

Eyeshadow Brush

This eyeshadow brush, like the foundation brush is incredibly soft and picks up eyeshadows quite easily. It applies the eyeshadow onto the lid also evenly and I can’t really see a flaw in this brush either.

Overall, I would highly recommend to try these three basic brushes for your makeup routines if you really require a lot of brushes. They come in a nice funky purple brush holder and aren’t that easily breakable since the handles are plastic. They aren’t really that wallet crushing either, as you can find quite a few deals on eBay for this set! Yay!
