Self-induced Botox is what it’s called. All you have to do is stop smiling and frowning and furrowing your eyebrows and showing any emotion at all!

Dermatologist Eric Schweiger, founder of Schweiger Dermatology in New York City, says that the creases on your face caused by the expressions you make eventually become permanent lines if you keep making those expressions, which explains how people get more wrinkles when they get older. However, in order to prevent those wrinkles and creases from ever becoming permanent, a blogger from youbeauty has coined the term “self-induced Botox” (S.I.B.) for her new way of eliminating wrinkles with aging by simply refraining from showing those expressions that cause the permanent lines.

On the bright side, you don’t have to spend any money at all. On the not-so-bright side, you will seem more like an emotionless doll. So is it worth it? I would personally rather be an actual human being with emotions than prevent the lines on my face that will, in the future, let people know of what a happy life I have lived.

What do you think? Is it worth it to lose your expressions to stay looking young?
