Halloween’s just around the corner, and it’s about time to whip out those knives and start carving your pumpkins! Instead of having to make the hundreds of pumpkin pies with the leftover scraps, you can now turn it into a moisturizer, which will help your skin instead of bloating it. It’s a win-win for everybody!

Skin can get dry and flaky when the weather changes from warm to frigid, so this DIY pumpkin moisturizer is definitely fit for the season! Pumpkin is really beneficial to you - except when it’s being consumed in a pie with cups of sugar. It’s stocked with tons of enzymes and antioxidants that nourish skin and aid in getting rid of dead skin cells. That being said, let’s move on to the instructions to whip up a moisturizer!

Ingredients:
One half cup of pumpkin puree
One half cup of coconut oil (Helps with moisturizing)
One half teaspoon of cinnamon (This aids the moisturizer to become anti-bacteria)

Directions.

Mix all the ingredients in a jar until it becomes smooth. Apply the mixture onto clean skin, and massage lightly to work it in. Let the mixture sit up to 10 minutes, and then proceed to rinse with warm water. If you have any leftover mixture, you can use it for up to 3-5 days, before it’ll become spoiled.

And there you have! It’s a gain, without the pain!
