As pretty as they are, the worst thing about glitter nail polishes is when you have to take it off. With today’s Beauty Tip of the Day, you’ll be able to say bye-bye a little easier to that sparkly pain in the butt.

Instead of using your regular cotton balls, which tend to clump up, come undone, and make an even bigger mess on your glitter nail polish, try picking up some felt from the art supply store instead.

Cut them into small squares and soak it with your nail polish remover of choice. Place your soaked felt square on your nail for about 10 seconds and then swipe away.

The extra friction of the felt allows you to remove the glitter more easily and considering it’s stronger than your regular cotton ball, it can stand up to be used a bit rougher as well.
