As I’ve previously stated in another review, it’s always fun to see what type of mascara wand mascara’s have. Well, Clinique’s High Lengths Mascara certainly has a very unique type of wand! It even stands out quite a bit because of its lime green colour contrasting against the dark black formula of this mascara.

Featuring a unique curved, fine tooth wand, here’s what Clinique has to say about its product:

Stretch limp, lifeless lashes to lengths beyond your wildest expectations. And wow - eyes look noticeably wider, fully energized. Our curved, fine-toothed comb finds the tiniest lashes and brings them out of hiding. Ophthalmologist tested and appropriate for sensitive eyes.

I definitely have to say, it does what it says because my lashes look a lot longer after applying this mascara on my lashes! It’s a bit messier than other mascaras because of how the wand is shaped and how wet the formula is, but taking a little more time will definitely give you the results you want! The black of this mascara is a very, very, dark black (I think it’s the darkest mascara I have), so it definitely plays an optical illusion making it look like your lashes are a lot longer, and volumized than before.

Here’s what it looks like on me: (for a reference to my bare lashes, click here)

Overall, this is definitely a mascara that I would re-purchase and surely recommend. It’s actually not that more expensive than some drugstore brand mascaras at $14.50, but it will give you greater results. This mascara also doesn’t smudge as easily as my other Clinique mascara, and lasts pretty much the whole day. My only con about this product is the fact that the lower lashes are a tiny bit harder to apply but I rarely apply mascara on my lower lashes daily. The mascara also flakes a little when you remove it so it isn’t the best mascara in terms of removing abilities.

Score: 4/5
