Louis Vuitton, a brand so synonymous with elegant and high couture bags, wallets, and accessories, is set to introduce a new perfume to us all. By hiring world-renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, the world is buzzing at the anticipation of the brand’s first scent in quite a few decades.

Cavallier-Belletrud has strong roots in perfume, as he is the scentmaker of so many other perfumes out there, such as Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, Stella McCartney Stella, and Christian Dior Midnight Poison. As such, Marc Jacobs is primed to help Cavallier-Belletrud create a scent that will fit into Louis Vuitton’s varied products.

And it’s probably going to be expensive as well.
