Seeing as how more celebrities are embracing the cute “framed” look when strutting themselves, makeup guru Bobbi Brown stepped up the plate to give some insight on what makes the look hot, and what’s not.

Not everybody can rock the look of frames, but we can all try! Brown dished out the secrets to glasses success - it all has to do with the make up! In order to help girls make their eyes shine, Brown advised,
Wearing glasses already draws attention to your eyes, so you want to make sure your makeup is clean.”

Check out some more makeup tips, quoted from the make-up guru herself!

1. Don’t overdo it.
“Wearing glasses already draws attention to your eyes, so you want to make sure your makeup is clean, simple and defined. Overdoing it will clash with your frames.”

2. Apply Foundation.
“Great makeup starts with great skin, so it’s important start there whether you’re wearing glasses or not. Be sure your skin is clean and hydrated. When skin isn’t well moisturized, it can take on a dull and tired appearance. Apply foundation either all over the face or only on certain areas to even out your skin, and finish with a pop of blush to your cheeks for a fresh, pretty glow. This will act as the perfect canvas for stand-out eyes.”

3. Tame your brows!
“I make sure my brows are well groomed, as eyeglass frames draw attention to the brows. To do so, I fill in any holes or sparse spots with a brow pencil or powder shadow the same color of my brows for a natural look.”

4. Before applying mascara, curl your lashes!
“You may want to curl your lashes before applying mascara. Mascara is the perfect way to lengthen and curl the lashes. However, you don’t want them to hit your lenses!”

5. If Your Lenses Make Your Eyes Look Bigger, Less Is More
“If your lenses make your eyes look bigger, it’s best to apply liner and mascara with a lighter hand. Liner should be delicate and thin, with only one coat of mascara. The last thing you want is for your glasses to magnify a mistake.”
