Sometimes pencil eyeliners don’t always give you what you want, they smudge and they’re pretty hard to draw thin lines with. Same goes for gel liners as well. The solution to this? Use liquid eyeliner! When I first had an opportunity to try out NYX’s Super Skinny Marker in Carbon Black, I leap for it because of all the possibilities you could do with it opposed to the types of eyeliners I had.
Here’s how NYX describes their eyeliner:
The micro-fine felt tip on this eye liner means you can use it for everything from filling in your eyelash line to a subtle cat-eye look. The eye marker application is smooth and the striking results are long-lasting and smudge-proof.
With the super skinny and pointed fine felt tip on this liquid eyeliner, you can be sure of the fact that you’re drawing super skinny lines! The application is also pretty smooth as it is very easy to control the pen. If you make a mistake, you don’t have to worry too much either because you can always fix it due to how thin of a liner you put on initially. The colour is also a pretty intense black. It will definitely make your eyes stand out a lot more than pencil eyeliner because you can’t really get as dark with using eyeliner. After wearing it for a day, I found that it hasn’t smudged or faded at all!
Here’s how it looks on me:
Eyes Closed
Eyes Open
Overall, this is a pretty good eyeliner to have in your makeup bag. It’s easy to use, thin (for those of us with shaky hands), and most importantly, smudge-proof. I don’t really have any bad things to say about this product because it has done all that I wanted it to do. The price isn’t too bad too considering the fact that a lot of drugstore brand makeup products are also around the $10 mark these days.
Score: 5/5

Looks great on you Sandy! The line looks so thin and effortless—I should probably consider this since I have shaky hands, haha.
