Designer Tory Burch is known for her luxuriousness preppy-boho design aesthetic that has mainly stayed in the fashion world. Well soon, that’ll all change as the brand is gearing up to launch their first fragrance!
Though the specific details on this first perfume are still in the works and kept very hush hush, the scent in question is said to be developed in partnership with Estée Lauder. Not to mention that it will also be “of great value at an accessible price” - ooh la la.
Speaking to WWD, Tory Burch shared,
For me, beauty was part of the plan since the beginning, especially fragrance…We wanted to establish ourselves for who we are and learn who we were, and it’s taken us seven and a half years to really understand, from where our potential is, as well, and growth around the world.
Logically move to choose to wait and it’ll definitely be exciting to see what’s going to come.
Though it’ll still be a while, since the reveal apparently won’t happen until 2013. But in the meantime, execs at both the Burch and Estée Lauder parties are in talks to produce a color cosmetics collection. So hopefully that’ll be coming sooner alongside this interesting trend of designers stepping into beauty.
