When it comes to lip colours, I like looking for shades that are pretty and have a really great pigmentation and coverage. Bare Escentual’s Pretty Amazing Lip Color caught my eye because it applied like a lip gloss, and not like a lipstick. In order to boost up my confidence in wearing a different coloured lip outside, I tried it out in Confidence.

Confidence, as describe on the website is a pink berry colour and is a very wearable colour during the day. Here’s what Bare Escentuals has to say about the product itself:

Colour: As stated before, this is a pink berry colour and fabulous for going out during the day or the night. What I also love about this colour is the fact that you can barely see the ridges in my lips. It is also super glossy so you can be sure that it’ll make your lips look fuller.

Moisture:Ah yes, we can never go away from the moisturizing abilities of lip products. I found that this lip color didn’t dry out my lips at all and provided a tiny amount of moisture to my lips.

Scent/Taste: There’s no scent or taste that I am aware of that is around this product, so you won’t have to worry about scents.

Application: With the velour applicator brush, applying this lip colour was a breeze. You can control the shape effortlessly and make sure that your lip colour doesn’t run. If it does, it’s quite an easy fix as opposed to wearing lipstick.

Here’s what it looks on my lips:

Lasting abilities: This lipstick lasts for an incredible amount of time. It’s sort of hard to remove because of how pigmented it is, but with a little bit of a good makeup remover, it’ll be gone in a jiffy.

Overall: Pretty Amazing does not give this lip color justice. It should have a stronger word to the name of this product but nonetheless, it is 100% accurate to showcase how much I enjoyed this lip color. I couldn’t really find faults in the product besides the fact that it was harder to remove and this product has definitely given me a lot more confidence of wearing a coloured lip.
