When it comes to lip balms, they are usually just plain clear, but NYX’s Tinted Lip Spas have a bit of colour while giving you that moisture you want.

Here’s how NYX describes their Tinted Lip Spas:

Meet your latest obsession: An addictive pout treatment that moisturizes, conditions and protects your lips—with Vitamin E and a host of other nourishing ingredients—and graces them with a hint of dewy color. Available in 12 pretty shades.

Colour: Getting a chance to try this out in the colour Pinky Winky, it seems like a really pale pink with some hints of glitter in the tube, but when you actually swatch it out onto your hand, all you really see is glitter. Here’s a swatch on my hand, you can barely see the glitter due to the fact that it’s pretty subtle.

Moisture: Like a typical lip balm, it lasts for about 1.5 hours before I feel the need to reapply to save my lips from being chapped. I was really expecting it to last a bit longer due to the fact that it’s a little bit more expensive than a normal lip balm, but I guess I was wrong.

Scent/Taste: Interestingly enough, this tinted lip spa smells and tastes a bit like mint. The smell is really little, so if you aren’t a fan of mint scents, you shouldn’t be fretting too much.

Overall: This product wasn’t a product that was amazing, but it was pretty decent due to the moisturizing ability and the colour. It isn’t that bad considering it is around $5.50 for a piece, but I’d just like a bit more moisture out of my lip products.

Actually I would prefer putting it on my arm since I could see the glitter then. XD
