With Thanksgiving around the corner, cranberries are a staple for most. But besides being tasty, they’re also full a lovely and beneficial ingredient for your skin. Check out the directions after the cut to learn how to make a super simple cranberry facial that will have you glowing for the big feast.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup of warm water
Directions:
- Take the cranberries and puree them in a blender.
- Then strain the mixture - you’ll need the liquid from the berries, not the chunks of fruit.
- Combine the water and cranberry juice and soak a washcloth or some cotton pads in the mixture.
- Apply the saturated cloth or cotton to your face (though avoid the eye area).
- Relax and have it sit on your face for about 15 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
As a result, your skin should look a little brighter and smoother. Not to mention, it’s a good excuse to get to lay back and do nothing for a little while, in the midst of holiday or school stress.
