The idea here is to apply your perfume all over the body like normal, but then lock it in place with a body lotion. In using lotion after the scent, rather than before, it creates a barrier that the scent isn’t able to penetrate and easily fade away in a couple hours.

Though if you’re unable to pick up a body lotion that is in the same range as your perfume, unscented lotion works too.
