Lotions, the perfect skin care product to use during the cold and harsh winters. Well, the weather still hasn’t stopped being bi-polar where I live yet, so there are certain days where I use more lotions than other warmer days. That being said, I love trying out new hand creams and such to see how moisturized my hands can stay after application. The other Caudalie products I’ve tried out have immensely impressed me, so I decided to test out Caudalie’s Hand and Nail Cream as well.
The official Caudalie website says, “Hydration, softness, and youthfulness, everything is combined in this anti-oxidant cream with orange pulp, which leaves your hands silky smooth and protected. For all who desire a nourishing anti-ageing treatment for the hands and nails.”
Cool, I got the full-sized product! (75 mL) The packaging is interesting, not a plastic tube like most other lotions, but instead it is a aluminium type of material…? I dunno exactly what to call it. The opening is sealed, so you have to peel it back before using. Pop the cap open and squeeze out the cream! The texture is, well, creamy, but not thick or sticky. The color is white, until you rub it into your skin, of course. As for the scent. Hmm, not sure how to exactly describe it, but it is a like pleasant and refreshing orange-grape-like fragrance. The moisture retention is pretty good! Didn’t feel dry, plus my hands and nails felt hydrated for a few hours before reapplication. *sniffs cream some more*
Here’s what the cream looks like:
I recommend this hand and nail cream especially for those who are prone to having dry skin. Works well for sensitive skin too. Use it as often as you like, as the description says. The price is a tad expensive, $19.00, but it really is an effective product.
