With the mindset that it’s never too early to start thinking about and using products with anti-aging ingredients, I thought I’d give Philosophy’s Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer a try. I mean, it shouldn’t say “Miracle Worker” without some backup, right?

As a “rejuvenating, age-fighting hydrator that softens, firms, and brightens the complexion,” it sounded pretty promising. Not to mention that it also boasted the ability to “fortify the skin’s natural moisture barrier, maximizing moisture-retention capacity for healthy, soft, smooth results.”

Swatch:

Here you can see the actual formula of Miracle Worker - it’s not too heavy, though it does do a nice job of moisturizing your skin after you apply and rub it in. There’s not really a scent to it, maybe a slight non-fragrance scent though it fades pretty quickly if you don’t like that smell.

Overall: While it was pretty satisfactory in keeping my skin moisturized, it’s a touch pricey at $55 for 2 oz (or $90 for 4 oz). Though I would recommend it if you’re looking for a moisturizer that nourishes pretty well and doesn’t take too long to absorb into your skin. It also doesn’t seem to be really harsh either with its light texture.

But results-wise, it doesn’t seem to really bring that much of a different with my other moisturizers that I would specifically consider it again. Though I do like it just for general nourishment on those mornings and nights that the cold, winter air wants to dry out my skin.

Score:4/5
