Apparently with The Hunger Games nail polish news from a while ago, there was a bit of drama…with Lionsgate coming out to announce that it was not happening (not to mention how Katniss is sort of a tomboy and…wouldn’t actually have time to paint her nails…or the money). But it seems as though now that’s changed and it’s happening after all. Though with a bit of a change.

Though with its initial news, there wasn’t really a name. Now the line has been renamed to “Colors From The Capitol,” inspired instead by the glamorously dressed rich people who live in the Capitol and watch teenage kids killing each other (aka The Hunger Games) for fun.

The line is still being created and distributed in collaboration with China Glaze and will officially be debuting on March 1, 2012 (which goes along with the film’s March 23 premiere date).

Though the shade previews were peeked at earlier, China Glaze informs us that the polish colors for the collection are still in development, so that should be something to look forward to. Besides the movie, of course.

That is creepy about the rich people watching kids. Well, I liked the nail polish for what they had released earlier but hope to see the ones they will be releasing soon then.
