With the new year literally around the corner, many of you might be considering changing up your look to something a bit different from your usual. One of the easiest ways is to get a fresh, new haircut, sort of like how Jennifer Aniston made that same move to her chic bob last year. InStyle managed to catch up with her for their upcoming January issue to find out why she made the jump to take that chop.

Aniston shares: “The real reason I cut my hair? My real hair was getting thinned out again from all the extensions. It was starting to look fake.”

Pretty reasonable. Personally, I’m leaning towards making a hair plunge too, just need to figure out to what. But what about you guys? Planning any new hair looks for the start of the new year?
