If you happen to love Lady Gaga’s nails designs, then you would probably know that the manicurist behind the works of art is no other than Aya Fukuda. Now why would she be sued for $35,000? Read on to find out!

Michael Duenas, founder of Hair Room Service, is the one that is behind the lawsuit. According to Duenas, Fukuda was first introduced to the superstar through their agency and was under a non-compete contract.

The New York Post reports:

The lawsuit says Aya Fukuda signed on as an independent “nail artist” with the service in July 2010, agreeing to pay a 40 percent commission and that she would not “appropriate any client.”

The company booked her for several appointments with Gaga until June 2011, when Fukuda’s lawyer told the company she wanted out of her deal. The company wouldn’t sign off on her terms, the suit says.

A company rep said they offered Fukuda a termination agreement in August, but it would have barred her from putting her hands on Gaga’s digits, and Fukuda refused to sign it.

Fukuda however, has ignored the contract and continued to work with Lady Gaga, even doing her nails for her “Marry the Night” music video. Hair Room Service is now looking for $35,000 and a court order that will forever ban her from touching Lady Gaga’s nails ever again.

Well, if Lady Gaga still wants to work with Fukuda, I wonder what would happen. However, I don’t really think the court will ban Fukuda from working with the superstar.
