I admit I’ve been getting addicted to blushes lately which is why I couldn’t pass up this Lorac Blush in Soul, I’ve never tried a color quite like it and was interested to see how it would look in comparison to more traditional pinks and peaches.

Sephora Says, “Whether you opt for a soft natural pink, a healthy peach glow, or a more dramatic shade, this satiny powder blush brightens your face and accentuates your features.”

The shade I got is called Soul and it is described as a dusty rose, but I find it to be a tad bit more neutral and it has a slight silver shimmer to it. I’d say its the perfect medium between a blush and a bronzer and it feels very silky to the touch and blends in really easily.

The color is nicely pigmented and build-able if you use a light hand. Dusted on the cheeks it looks really beautiful along with a neutral makeup look, and if you apply this in the hollows of your cheeks and around the outer edges of your face it makes for a nice subtle bronzed effect. My only disappointment comes from the packaging, It comes packaged with a screw-top lid which can be a little difficult to open and close especially if you’re in a hurry like I usually am, I think if it had a lift up compact style casing instead it would be much more efficient.

Overall, if you’re looking for a blush that could double as a bronzer without being too extreme I think that this would be the perfect shade to try out. The color lasts a good couple of hours and the shimmers are subtle enough to not overwhelm your cheeks.

If you would like to try it out for yourself, you can get it here.
