This is a first: a South African strip club is venturing into the fragrance business and they’re not going for floral fragrances. They’re creating a line for men that smells like excuses…

Confused? Here’s a “typical” situation: your partner goes to a strip club without you knowing and only arrives at 3 in the morning. You ask him where he was and he tells you that he was “out sailing”… at 3am. Then, apparently, you’ll smell him and he’ll already have doused himself in the new “We were out sailing” cologne. This will make him smell like “the scent of fresh ocean spray, sea salt, aqua and cotton rope.” Strange.

If that excuse isn’t for you, there are two other scents - “My car broke down” which smells subtly of fuel, burnt rubber, grease and steel, and “I was working late” which has notes of coffee, wool suits, cigarette and even ink.

For now, the cologne is only available in South Africa at about $37 per bottle, but I’m sure it will be making itself seen in other countries soon. Look out, girls, any guy that wears this is not worth keeping around!
