It’s one of those days where you wake up and think your face looks dull, dead (not literally) and gross. You need something to help brighten your face and day. Whip out the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, and instant radiance booster, to help achieve this feat!

The directions of usage on the back of the tube read: “A more beautiful appearance in a flash: apply a thin layer to face without rubbing in. Follow immediately with makeup. Energizes and soothes: apply a thick layer like a mask. Leave on 10-15 min.”

Waking up and feeling my face, often it feels a little bit on the dry side. Squeezing out a bit of the flash balm, I apply it all over my face and it instantly adapts to my complexion. It can act like a primer and moisturizer at the same time. It feels as though I’m applying lotion without an obvious weight addition. The skin tone then appears brighter, and feels softer and more supple. The glow produced is a healthy one that makes you look more awake in general. For my sensitive skin, the peachy colored formula caused no signs of irritation, and the cream-like texture of the balm is easily spreadable and applies evenly. The smell? Well, a tiny bit like baby powder, but you can’t really smell it unless you stick your nose up to it. haven’t used it as a mask, as I have other products for that purpose.

I love the results after using it for about a week, no complaints. Everyday I go through my facial wash routine and then when dry, apply the balm all over for a refreshed look. No more zombie-dead horror shock at the mirror, haha! My skin has felt smoother, and I find myself putting on less BB Cream than before (which is a good thing). I recommend this product for those who want to look bright and ready to take on the world first thing in the morning all the way to late night partying.
