Since I started dyeing my hair, I’ve regularly used one type of shampoo and it’s matching conditioner specifically for color treated hair. The H20+ Spa - Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo seemed rather appealing though, and I wondered how it would work with my hair.
Here is what the official H20+ site says about the shampoo: “A stimulating, daily shampoo that leaves hair shiny, silky and full with Marine Collagen, Vitamin E and Hydrating Marine Blend.
Revitalizing formula cleanses away oils and styling products while helping to strengthen and restore hair’s resilience, bounce and softness-even in hard water.
Marine collagen amino proteins and vitamins moisturize and repair hair that has been damaged by heat, styling tools, sunlight or chemical treatments.
Moisture-rich marine botanicals, including Wakame, Sea Lettuce, and Sea Fennel, deeply hydrate to repair and protect hair from environmental stress.
Notes of fresh eucalyptus and cool mint awaken the senses and impart a subtle scent.”
The color of the formula is a mossy green. It’s scent is very much like Philosophy’s Pure Made Simple, not flowery or fruity smelling. It smells like, well, facial wash in a way. The scent stayed in my hair for a bit, and I could tell that individual strands were more healthy after several washes.
I like the results the shampoo brought to my hair, but I don’t really care for the scent. For those who have hair damaged due to different kinds of heat exposure and usage, this would be a nice refresher. Go here for purchasing information if interested! Choose from a 2 oz. tube at $4.00 or a 12.5 fl oz. for $20.
