Review: Indie Pop Eyeshadow Palette

I love finding smaller palettes because they are much easier to travel with and I wanted to find a good one with enough colors to provide variety without weighing down my makeup bag. I found this Indie Pop palette, and the colors were so pretty that I knew i had to have it.

POPBeauty says, “These 12 eye toppers help shade & shape your peepers, making them POP with individual expression. Soft, suit-all hues add warmth & definition while the silky velvet formula really helps to ramp up the heat the London Indie Pop way!”

The colors are absolutely gorgeous! they are all shimmers except for deep emerald, which is a matte shade

Left: Deep olive gold liner, popped navy blue liner, deep emerald liner, deep rose liner
Center: Milky bronze, mocha bronze, sheer apricot, soft rust
Right: Sheer burnt orange, glimmering white gold, eggshell white, soft lilac

Here they are swatched on my bare hand without a base, and as you can see these are all very pigmented and shimmery colors , minus deep emerald, eggshell white, and soft lilac. The colors are all really soft and easy to blend on your eyelids and all the color combinations you could try with this work just great. Used with a base, these colors stick for at least 8 hours on myself with minimal creasing.

Overall, I think this is a neat little palette and it has a good range of neutral colors along with a couple to give you that extra “pop!” of color. The only downside is that due to the smallness of the palette you get smaller pans of color.
