Given the positive response Urban Decay’s received from the Naked Palette, they decided to go Naked again. Not literally of course, but in the form of Naked 2. And so for the first time, I’ve decided to take the plunge and go Naked…Naked 2 that is. How many times more will I be saying ‘naked’ in this review? Too many times. So go on, let’s get Naked(2) with me:
What It Is
As a follow-up to Naked, Naked2 is a palette of 12 taupe and greige neutrals. For fun, they’ve decided to toss in black shade named Blackout. Much like the first Naked, Naked2 comes in a rectangular palette compact with a mirror, double-ended shade/crease blush and a small sample of Lip Junkie lipgloss in ‘Naked.’
Pigmentation/Texture
Paired with a great eyeshadow primer (fittingly, I use Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion), you’ve got yourself a set of 12 highly pigmented eyeshadows that come in a variety of finishes: pale to deep, matte to sparkly. Given the variety, Naked2 allows for effortless day-to-night transitioning. Here’s what the palette looks like up close:

Performance
The Naked2 eyeshadows (with primer) held up all day long. If you’re concerned that you’re not getting much product in the palette, know that these eyeshadows are highly pigmented and not a lot of product is required to achieve the look you want. What I love most about Naked2 is that it’s a good mix of day and night shades that work well with each other. It’s also a great deal because you get 12 shades for $50, rather than 12 shades for $204. You can purchase it here from the official Urban Decay site.
Since receiving Naked2, I’ve had little reason to reach for any other palette! Two thumbs up from me.
Score: 5/5
