In keeping with Lancome’s La Roseraie Des Delices theme, comes Lancome’s Color Fever Gloss in Green Petals. After all, why should pink rose petals have all the fun? It’s time for green lip gloss to have a moment. No, seriously.

Packaging

Lancome’s Color Fever Gloss in Green Petal comes in a pretty lucite and silver lip gloss bottle holding 6ml. Although the green shade of Green Petal isn’t a true green but more of a mint green shade, it makes the Color Fever Gloss super interesting to look at.

What’s also really cool about this gloss is that the wand has a doe-foot applicator tip for a more even application:

Scent

The scent of Green Petal is a light tea tree oil scent that fades away after application.

Color/Texture
As mentioned above, yes, this is a mint green/pastel green gloss with mint green sparkles. Will you look like Shrek when you put it on? Absolutely not. Although the product looks green, you actually get a clear gloss that appears to bring out the natural pinkness of your lips. I’m guessing that’s what the green in the lip gloss does. Not as scary as you imagined, right? I also want to note that the gloss finish isn’t too glossy or plastic-looking for a more natural finish. The sparkles in this gloss are also green but you couldn’t tell unless someone was squinting at your lips.

Overall
While looks may be intimidating, I found Lancome Color Fever Gloss in Green Petal to be absolutely pleasant as a barely-there pink gloss (that looks green on the outside). As a gloss, it stays on for about 3 hours before you need to reaaply so it’s not too bad. There also isn’t that annoying sticky feeling with this gloss! For anyone in the market for a natural-looking gloss, Lancome’s Color Fever Gloss is a great bet.
