Released as part of Lancome’s Roseraie Des Delices Spring 2012 Collection, Le French Touch Absolu Nu in Cotton Candy is a sheer cotton candy pink lipstick in limited edition packaging inspired by Lancome’s heritage lipsticks. Like the Green Petal Color Fever Gloss, the Le French Touch Absolu Nu in Cotton Candy looks super bold but results in a less-shocking shade.

According to Lancome, Le French Touch Absolu Nu will, “Enhance your natural lip tone in a veil of shiny, translucent color. The 1st Ultra caring lipstick with Pro-Xylane™ in a new infinitely light texture, and enriched with enhancing pigments to reveal the radiance of beautifully replenished lips. A surprising sheer texture will adorn your lips with a delicate veil of color.”

In less words, this lipstick is sheer and will bring out the natural pink of your lips. Not bad, I think.

Scent/Texture

Those who aren’t fans of scented beauty products, rest assured. Cotton Candy is merely the name of this shade — there’s no scent to this lipstick. As for texture, it’s very sheer and smooth. I would say that it’s just like the Color Fever Gloss, but with a thinner consistency.

Overall Performance
What I love most about this lipstick is that although it’s pink, it’s not too Pepto Bismol-y. There isn’t a lot of blue tones to it so it’s a natural pink that’ll work on anyone regardless of skin tone. It does a great job of brightening up the face! I also like that it’s not heavy on but will last quite awhile. My lips also felt hydrated! Great, great stuff for your lips.
