Review: Soap & Glory’s Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash

Back again with another item from Soap & Glory’s latest lineup. This time the Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash (whew!) will be getting its time in the spotlight. Let’s hope that it’ll be able to perform and bring the applause.

Described to be a three-in-one cleanser, this facial wash is meant to act as a daily detox that smooths, cleans, and scrubs your skin. Featuring skin-brightening Vitamin C, it’s also suitable for all skin types, especially those with young problem skin and/or tired, dull skin in need of rejuvenation. -raises hand-

Formula + Application: As a gel cleanser, it had a nice consistency when used. Though one of the things that I was captivated by the most was…its delicious scent! Made with “Superfruit Plum,” there’s definitely a hint of it when you give it a whiff. Though the more dominant scent was definitely citrus (from the Vitamin C). As a result, it was a really comforting experience, where I was able to wake up my skin and myself from that groggy feeling after you wake up.

To apply, it’s pretty straightforward with any other cleanser you’ve probably used. Though with this being a gel-type, you don’t have to wait a bit and foam it up like with cream cleansers. It’s pretty much a squeeze-out-of-the-bottle-and-go process.

Results: After sufficiently massaging my face with the cleanser, I was very pleased with how my skin was after washing it off. The tiny, pink exfoliating beads worked really nicely to perk up my skin, since they aren’t too rough (especially when the facial wash is being touted to be used daily) but there was enough scrub in it that it also cleaned away any debris and left my skin pretty smooth.

There was also just a really amazing, clean feeling that I was left with that made me just feel like I was just more ready for the day to begin and awake overall. Brightening-wise, I’d say it also brought it in this category, since you sort of can’t help it when something so vibrantly bright like Vitamin C comes in to play to stimulate your skin.

Overall: Wonderful! I especially like this Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash as my morning cleanser, since it does such a good job to really energize your possibly-still-sleeping skin and freshen it up at the same time.

Not too bad price-wise either at $16, since you only need a pea-sized amount to work with that the giant 5 oz. tube will last a while. Love and recommended!
